Daily Review – 09/10/2018

Today’s artwork: A beautiful fantasy sunset.

Time: 22:14

Date: 09/10/2018

Mood: Drained but extremely content.

Successes:

  1. Had a lovely evening with Holly.
  2. Despite not feeling in the mood, I managed to finish guitar tracks for the song Oathbreaker which my band Disconnected Souls are working on. Holly’s parts to hopefully follow next week!
  3. Managed to also get some keyboards recorded – happy that they were in time to the click track. Holly agrees that timing was good and is feeling much better about this track now that we’re eliminating some of the prior issues.
  4. Continued development of IAAS report at work – now includes additional VM’s that support the environment and this has led to some new issues being identified.
  5. Delivered daily Exchange migration checks on time.
  6. Attended legacy server patching project review and provided feedback.

Challenges:

  1. Didn’t meet goal of doing 2 sets of university notes a day – not a problem because I’ve comfortably got enough days left to revise and should be able to revisit each set too.
  2. Feeling alive tomorrow – up early for a revision day and taking the opportunity to check up on my Nottingham flat. Hopefully it hasn’t fallen down in my absence!
